Character Creation

First you'll need to start with the Mi-Go Racial Template which I've got in .html, .gcs, or on Myth-Weavers. On top of that feel free to spend 20pts with up to 15pts with of disadvantages. I encourage some of those points be spent buying off existing racial disadvantages, and remember that generally speaking it's a good idea to have a lot of different skills in GURPS. Off the top of my head the following might be Mi-Go appropriate, but I can speak on how effective they will be: Lightning Calculator, Diagnosis, Buy off your flight limitation, Sadism, Additional DR, Trained By A Master (If you really want to unleash the Mi-Go kung fu), Magery 1 (specially FTL Comms, Changing Form, etc).

You've all been surgically modified to be able to speak with sound. You could not have it and trade Disturbing Voice for Cannot Speak for a net 15 points.

In addition you may also start with your choice of a Mist Projector or Lightning Gun, and everyone gets a dose of 50lb strength removable adhesive!

Why We Fight

The PCs are part of a secret operation formed by a Mi-Go splinter group. They worry about the future of the future of the Mi-Go race and the future of their mining operations on Earth. The humans just this year, have discovered their second Blue John mine in China, which is now yet another mine which had to be abandoned. They have not forgotten the removal of Yuggoth from the status of Planet, which the Mi-Go all took as a sign of aggression. These beings know what must be done, and since they cannot gain the full support of the Mi-Go Empire they will be forced to do it themselves: They must kill every last human being on the planet Earth. Though they have also become increasingly concerned with Dolphin and the New Caledonian Crow and would like their populations limited if possible as distant secondary objective. Only then will the tension between these two races be resolved, and only then may we convince the empire to dramatically increase the scale of the mining operations on Earth to meet our increasing Blue John needs. The group would use the inter-planetary artillery positioned at Yuggoth but anything that would do enough damage for a population collapse would render the highly sensitive Blue John inert and worthless. The splinter group will only be able to assist by providing basic supplies, information, and access to the teleportation circles scattered around the planet.
